Speed the Light/Project Rescue

Every year the Compelled by Love 5k raises money to sponsor organizations that are committed to eliminating human trafficking around the world. Last year we raised over 40,000 dollars for Project Rescue, an organization that rescues young girls off of the streets of India. This year we are raising funds for Speed The Light and Project Rescue to help combat Human Trafficking worldwide.

Race Description

All runners will start at Raleigh First Assembly (3249 Blue Ridge Road), exit the property and turn left onto Blue Ridge, left onto Glen Eden, right onto Parklake, turn around just before Edwards Mill and return to the start/finish area along the same route.

Individual: $30.00

Race Day Information

Registration begins at 8:30 am race day morning. New registration deadline is 9:45 am that day. Race begins at 10:30 am.

Packet Pickup

Thursday, September 20 at Omega Sports at the Cary Crossroads location from 4-7 pm

Race Amenities

Individuals will receive race t-shirt and bib sponsored by FS Series.

Register by September 10th to guarantee a race t-shirt on race day

Volunteer Information

We are looking for about 30 volunteers to assist us in coordinating the Compelled by Love race day activities. This is a great opportunity to join us for a fun and energetic morning while contributing to the success of this event. Volunteers are needed to help us with a variety of activities including:
• Race day registration, finish line
• Assistance, set up and parking coordination, road water stations, road race traffic, and race  timing.
• Volunteers are critical to help us make this race a very successful and enjoyable event.
• Join our group of volunteers and receive a FREE RACE T-SHIRT
