SUNDAY'S RACE WILL FEATURE A NEW RUN COURSE! We had to change the run course to go through the neighborhood adjacent to TAC. Please look at course map for the new run course.
If you have signed up for a season pass your name will not show up on the individual race page participant list but you are confirmed in all 3 races.
Race Description
Race 2 in the Splash 'N Dash Series will be a twilight start at 7:00pm. The swim will begin with a 400 meter, 8 Lap, swim in the Triangle Aquatic Center Competition Pool. The swimmers will complete 1 length of the pool in 1 lane, swim under the rope and proceed down the next lane. Swimmers will then use the ladder to exit the pool into the transition area. The transition area is in the bottom parking lot of the TAC. Participants will change into their running gear and proceed up the small hill into Cary Towne Mall Parking Lot. The run is 2 laps around the interior road of the mall. A double use aid station is offered at the .2 mile and 1.1 mile marker. After the second lap, participants will enter the TAC parking lot and make a right turn to the finish line. The finish line is just past the main entrance of the building.
Parking is located in overflow parking section of the Cary Towne Mall. There is no parking inside the TAC.
T Shirts are only given to Season Pass holders.

The last day to register online for the TrySports Splash 'N Dash Race 2 is Thursday, July 9, 2009. On-site registration may be available if this event is not full, but your best bet is to register online.
A $10.00 fee (for USAT race day insurance) will be added if you are not a USAT member.
